Quote-Children will learn anything they want to learn. they'll fail at learning how to figure percentages in the classroom but will effortlessly learn how to figure abtting averages(which are of course just percentages). they'll fail at learning science in the classroom but, working at their personal computers, will effortlessly defeat the most sophisticated computer security systems.
This paragraph grabed my attention because i can relate it to my cousin, having problems in school and not being able to memorize the courses has no problem, what so ever learning anything that has to do with games in the his computer. not being able to learn the angles or logical question. he has no problem learning history, or information to help his x box 360.
Seeing my cousin having a low capacity for school work makes me think that maybe they should just teach what we are going to use to live in our society. im not saying that my cousin should only learn games, he also like learning the human body or anything to do with being a doctor he dosent of anything else. This might mean that maybe we should only focus on the stuff we will use instead of testing us in all subjects, for example i want to be a engeneer when am i going to use the history oh how cortez one the aztecs. Partial of the grades we have are useless.
