A Sunny Day in Mazatlan Luis Aguirre
10/22/09
The sun was shining bright; I felt the hot air blowing threw my face while running down the edge of the blue pool. I looked back watching my sister trying to catch up. I saw the flower of how they’d burgeoned since yesterday. We put our towels in our seats and jumped in the pool. From the bottom of the water I could hear the splash. After a moment of catching back to our sense we noticed that the water was cold but not too much, almost just right. I suddenly noticed I was shivering. Some minutes passed and there were only like 5 kids in the pool, my sister had made a new friend, named Juanita. Her friend was a chubby, black curly haired girl, I don’t really remember much about her. She started playing Marco Polo with us, my sister was “it” in that time, “Marco!” my sister exclaimed.
“Polo,” me and Juanita responded at the same time. I watched my sister approach me like a lion watching its pray, I heard the water moving towards me at the same speed as my sister. In the pool there were two sides of deepness one was for kids and the other was for adults. While swimming I noticed a lot of people trying to get a tan. I felt the sun hitting my face. The heat covering me like a blanket when going to sleep. I smelled the sunscreen I had just put on. I could see the light reflecting of their skin into my eyes. I had to close my eyes. I never noticed there was a deep side of the pool I started running and swimming anything I could think of so my sister wouldn’t catch me. I would of never of thought of what a mistake I had done by running away from her. Suddenly I couldn’t feel the ground anymore. I started to panic.
I started screaming “help, help”. I watched the people how they just stared at me. Everything went slow motion. My sister swimming as fast as possible towards me; will I make it she thought, should I save him? She didn’t know what she was doing. As she came closer to me I felt I was getting farther away.im going to die here. It’s the end for me .those words passed through my mind thousands of times. If I knew she was going to try and help me by risking her life, I wouldn’t of panic. I would just drown. Not like other pools that have a little stairway under the water or a little hill to get out, this one just had a big step. She went under the water. My sister trying as hard as possible to push me up to have a hold of myself to the low water pool.
We won’t make it. She thought while desperately trying to push up. After hundreds of times trying to survive. She suddenly got enough anger and pushed up with every last bit of energy she had. I watched how suddenly I saw the people tanning again. I wasn’t drinking water anymore I was breathing. I turned around as saw a hero coming out of the water slowly. She spitted out water I started hitting her back softly so the water could come out. I could still taste the water and I tasted the differences between drinking water and this diabolical water. Soon after a lot of desperation, my sister saved my life. Her face was mad but at the same time relieved. “Thank you,” I said gratefully
When we were back out of the pool she started to chide me for what I did. I didn’t really care; I was just so gratified of what she had done. She supported her breath and my weight for about 40 seconds under water. In that moment under water it felt much longer and even longer for her. She never knew how appreciative I was for risking her life to save mine. When we went up back to the room. We started to meander around the room, we became gadabouts. The room was messy it needed to be titivated. We suddenly saw a woman appeared before I looked up it was my mom with a raffish look.
“Donde estaban,” she said. My mom was mad at my sister for leaving the room. She became a raffish mother.
“Estabamos en la alberca,” my sister said with a face of innocence. Of course I was going to exculpate her.
“Fue mi culpa yo le dije que biniera,” I said. My mom forgaved her because I said it was my fault and put the consequences on me. Her saving my life was no foofaraw. It was very valuable to me.
A hero for me is someone that does something good 100%. otherwise if they something just good it can be good for somepeople and bad for others. for example pancho villa was a hero to many mexicans but a villian to many other people that didnt go with his thought or ideas.
The hero in my eyes project was a writing assingment that we had to make an essay about a person we thought was a hero for us. i thought that it also explained what was a true hero kind of.
The project was pretty difficult for me at some time since i have soccer practices that end late but it was a very interesting and enteraining project since it realied on intervieiwn and choosing a hero. the deadlines were ok for some of the assingment but i think for the final porduct there should be 2 days to gather more thoughts. to get the final product i had to go trough brainstorming essays and revewing.
i encountered some problems. most of them were the due dates and not having time to finish them. i would also feel that another problem was choosing the hero since so many people are my hero everday. something i would do the same is using whichever extra credit there is it really does help.
i used innovation since it was a diffrent way of seeing things any me and my siter see the story in diffrent points of view. click here for hero sketch

mysics

One of the things that striked me in the articles were the dates the the civilizations discovered zero. from my opion they dicovered zero very late, I thought they had dicovered it long ago close to the caveman era. I think zero is a very simple thing to understand since the only thing it means is zero, nothing exept when it said in the articles when your talking about 40, 400, 4000.
the firsts civilizations that dicovered zero were, 1st the mesapotania civilization, 2nd the mayans, 3rd the hindus. it kind of shocke me the results since i thought the romans or the greeks were gonna be one of the firsts. i think the one that discovere the concept because the concept is like the meaning and you cant otherstand something without knowing what your talking about. communication is very important that why europe got the information of zero, without communication we would still be cavemen or something.

Catching the signal from one of her friends, Angela brushed her skirt, took a deep breath and walked towards where he was sitting. She knew what was going to happen, and she knew how she felt. While walking towards him, she remembered when she was walking towards him to ask him the same thing she had been holding on for a long time. She look up and saw the birds gliding as floating balloons in the air. Angela’s eyes were diamonds everyone liked them. Afterwards, she stared down because she didn’t want to look at him she saw ants coming out of the stone path; they were as small as bacteria. She stepped on a small piece of sharpened trash, it hurted enough to shout. She kept it in to keep her cool. The frequency of the scream trying to break out of her mouth. She noticed that she was only steps away from the guy. She knew it was time to look up. She moved her head slowly upwards. Only 3 more steps. She saw his face; she looked right in his purple, pink, neon green eyes. Words started coming out of her mouth “I, I, I,…..I,” Angela murmured
“You what,” he said
“I want to battle you in tecktonik,”

Vignette: One Moment in Time Hurricane Dean Luis Aguirre
9/30/09
It was a cloudy morning in Cancun; I woke up hearing the news hoping nothing bad had happened. I heard the news man saying there was going to be a hurricane passing through Cancun. I saw my mom worried and concerned about the hurricane, we didn’t know whether to leave or stay. Thoughts of hurricane Katrina came to my mind.
After a long time of discussing the situation we made the decision to stay. We made our last walk through the beautiful Cancun beach before the hurricane. The employees of the hotel announced that people could stay in their room o go to a more secure room. While walking back to the hotel we saw a little hurricane forming in the pool. We took a photo and went5 to our hotel room. After a while we decided to go to the recommended room they told us about.
We took all our important belongings down to the room. There they put on a Disney movie I think. We went back upstairs out of the room for a reason I can’t remember, but I remember someone opening the door and the air almost throwing me down to the floor, stuff that didn’t really weigh much was already floating in the air like paper, branches, and iguanas.
I went back downstairs to the room. There they served us food from their restaurant. After a while when the movie ended they raised up the projector. It was time to rest. That night I dreamed that the room was filling up with water and it exploded, suddenly everyone was surfing the big hurricane waves. By the time I woke up the hurricane had already moved another direction to Houston, Texas.
My whole family went outside to see the beach, all the sand was gone only rocks. The pools were filled with sand and rocks. The tables were broken into bits, or if not they weren’t there anymore. I saw an iguana on the beach but dead. I think it was the same one I saw flying around. I felt little and weak compared to the powerful big hurricane. Almost everything outside was taken away by the hurricane. This moment changed my life by knowing how powerful everything is compared to you.

It was midnight. The sea were as calm as a bear in the winter. It was so calm you didn't see waves from all the way to the horizen. I could hear the man pulling the ropes and the ship crkink of how old it was. The ship was craking like and olds man back. I started to think it will supoort us any longer. It would be a long way back to tj. All those fun memories of child hood playing with my friends soccer in the streets.After minutes later of daydreaming I came back to myself. for a moment I was a gad about nothing fun was in that ship. suddenly I heard a noise. It was coming from the water. I was begin to get scared a kraken . no I thought they dont exist. a shark, no not in these seas. A unknown creature maybe. I stareted to panic.Ii started to day dream again what if it opens the crack at the bottom of the ship I forgot fix. It started to vanish. I got reliefed. It was gone. lucky me I said to myself.

there are 31 open and 961

When I first saw the locker problem I thought you were to do whole thing but you just needed to find the pattern.

The pattern starts with every number that has an odd number of divisors going to be the opposite of what it started in other words open.

every number with an even number of divisors is the same as it started in other words closed

instead of doing it all the way to 1000 you can find pattern by less numbers.

i started with 10 and didn't find a pattern, and then 20 and kept on going until i saw the divisors

I woke up not carring what was going on or what was happening.
It has been a few days since i haven't seen lily
i tought, ah she'll come back.
Iwent to to the kitchen to see what there was to eat, i opened the refregirator door
nothing, only beers.
Ii got a beer and headed to the couch. I started seeing the soccer game
the 1964 world cup Mexico vs Brazil,
the score was 10-10
only 1 minute left Giovanni Dos Santos hadf the ball he centered it vela headered it
the goalie dived stop it with his nuckles the ball reaching almost the sun then Cuatemoc headered it to a pass to Giovanni, he made a chilenita, goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool every one shouted.

"Yes". I exclaimed, im gonna go celebrate with my friends in the bar. Isarted walking down the street not carrying if they would ran me over, the moment i thought that a tractor came towards me, too let to move
